Welcome to the Station at Mountain Lakes. Entering our 23rd year, owners Carlos Vasquez, Steve Turkot and Chef Bradley Cooper are continuing our vision of a local restaurant with a “cheers” like atmosphere, but with better food. We‘re a scratch restaurant, which means we purchase no premade or processed food. All the food is made on premises, soups, stocks, dressings and sauces are made from scratch (no msg or preservatives ever!). We bake our own bread twice daily, desserts are made on premise. Fresh fish is delivered daily, using only wild shrimp and fish when available. We roast our own peppers, grate our own cheese, whip fresh cream daily. There is no microwave in the restaurant. All of our menu items are made to order, no shortcuts are taken. It might take a little longer, but the results speak for themselves, keep it simple, keep it fresh.
